Kabel House Plans specializes in Louisiana style home plans. Our styles include Country French, Zero Lot, Cottage, Acadian (Acadiana) and a mixture of other Louisiana influences. We have been locally owned and creating Louisiana house plans for over 30 years just outside of Baton Rouge in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

You can find our houses all across the south from Texas to Florida. Our house plans are coveted by builders and framers for their exacting details and ease to build from. The plans are renowned for the best roof lines that will work and keep your house protected for a lifetime. We still draw all our plans by hand as we feel it allows us to be more immersed in the design process to ensure a beautiful and structurally superior home.

Our History

Kabel House Plans was started by Mike Kabel in 1977 with the help of his father, Lionel Kabel Sr. He started designing plans in the family sign shop, Kabel Signs(which is still next door to our office). The business grew and soon we had to move to our own office where we have continued to serve the community for over 30 years with our house plans.

In 2002, Mike welcomed his son Michael into the business. Since then Kabel House Plans has grown tremendously. Our business was built mostly from doing custom plans for builders and individuals looking for their dream home.
